The journey of US$ 300 Bn clothing export market begins

India is holding a strategic second position in the export of textile and clothing products in the world with a share of 5.55%. It is interesting to note that the difference between the first and second position is huge. Although it is expected that after the new Modi government in place and the initiatives planned in the textile sector, Indian textile industry is expected to grow multifold and reach US$ 300 Bn by 2020.
